Manuel Goldberg joined the Lions as Head Coach of Orlando City B ahead of the 2024 season, earning a promotion to Interim Assistant Coach during the 2026 season.
Under Goldberg’s leadership, Orlando City B has seen young talent progress through the Club’s developmental pathway, including homegrown players Gustavo Caraballo and Zakaria Taifi, who signed First Team contracts. Caraballo notably became the youngest player in Club history to sign with Orlando City SC in March.
In recent months, Academy products Justin Ellis, Clovis Archange, Dylan Judelson and Jackson Platts have all signed MLS NEXT Pro contracts with OCB, with Ellis signing a first-team deal this offseason, underscoring the strength of the Club’s scouting and development system.
Goldberg, 32, was named OCB Head Coach on March 11, 2024, after two seasons as an assistant, becoming the youngest head coach in MLS NEXT Pro history at the time. Over his two seasons in charge, he has guided the team to a combined record of 20-21-15, including an appearance in the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs.
