ORLANDO – October 31, 2014 – Orlando City Soccer Club Midfielder Kevin Molino has been called up by the Trinidad and Tobago National Team for the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Men’s Caribbean Cup Finals, as the Soca Warriors continue their quest to qualify for the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
Trinidad and Tobago will open group play in the CFU Caribbean Cup Finals on Monday, November 10 against Curacao. The Soca Warriors’ following match will take place against French Guiana on Wednesday, November 12, before concluding group play against Cuba on Friday, November 14.
The top four teams from the tournament will receive automatic qualification into the 2015 Gold Cup. City’s first MLS player propelled the Trinidadians into the Caribbean Cup Finals earlier this month with a series of stellar performances.
Molino recorded four goals in three semi-final group matches for his native country, including a hat-trick in their opening 6-1 win over the Dominican Republic.
