Kaká to Make Season Debut

Orlando City captain Kaká will make his return against the defending champs, Portland Timbers today at the Citrus Bowl. Orlando’s own No. 10 is excited to get back to the game he loves, “This week is going to be awesome. I get to play my first game; it is at home, and I will be playing with Antonio [Nocerino] again. We have had a full week of training together now and it’s going to be awesome to play with him again.”

Orlando Pride Extend Preseason Win Steak

The Orlando Pride recently won their third preseason game in a closed-door friendly, on Wednesday. The win came without the team’s leading scorer Alex Morgan and goalie Ashlyn Harris, both on international assignment. The three goals were scored by three different players, including Steph Catley, the new Australian defender.  On Saturday, the team closed out a perfect preseason with a weather shortened win over FSU.

OCB Battles Charleston to 0-0 Draw


Orlando City B took on the Charleston Battery in game two of their USL season on Friday night. After going down a man in the second half, goalkeeper Mark Ridgers kept OCB in the match with a few key saves down the stretch. Orlando City B will take on Louisville FC on the road next Saturday night.
