Vancouver Look To Make CONCACAF Champions League History after Dallas Bows Out

FC Dallas traveled to Pachuca, Mexico on Tuesday night to face the club in the second-leg of the CONCACAF Champions League semi-final. FC Dallas entered with a 2-1 advantage over Pachuca from the first leg of competition but lost that advantage early on a 38th minute goal and fell behind in the 80th minute on a second goal from Pachuca. FC Dallas fought back in the match with a goal to tie the aggregate in the 86th minute, but their hearts were broken two minutes into stoppage time as Pachuca found the aggregate winner closing things 3-1 (4-3 on aggregate) favoring Pachuca. Major League Soccer's final hope this season in CONCACAF Champions League play is the Vancouver Caps who are in need of a big win tonight in Vancouver to climb back from a 2-0 aggregate deficit.

Colorado To Host Next USMNT Match

Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, home of the Colorado Rapids, will host the U.S Men’s National Team in their next branch of the Hex against Trinidad and Tobago on June 8th. The match will take place just three days before the team travels to Mexico City for their second match against Mexico. Currently, the U.S sits in fourth place in the competition. The top three slots get an automatic ticket to the World Cup, where the 4th team will compete against an Asian side for their slot.

Big Decisions Ahead For U.S Ahead of U-20 World Cup

The U-20 World Cup begins on May 20th in South Korea and Head Coach Tab Ramos still has a large pool of players to choose from. He recently announced the roster for a training camp in London, intended to look at some European-based players eligible to play. His first step is to trim the player pool down to 35, before eventually deciding on all 21 spots. The U.S qualified for the U-20 World Cup after winning the CONCACAF tournament earlier this year.
