Beckham Buys Land for Expansion Team


Former LA Galaxy midfielder-turned-owner, David Beckham, purchased six acres of land in Miami, Fla. on Tuesday, March 24, in hopes of building a stadium for his expansion team. The purchase comes after two years of searching and three failed attempts.

Ronaldhino to the MLS?


Former Barcelona and AC Milan standout, Ronaldhino, said he has only considered contracts from the MLS or the Chinese Super League despite negotiations initiated by his home country, Brazil. Ronaldhino, 36, won two La Liga titles and the Champions League while apart of Barcelona.

USMNT’s World Cup Chances On Life Support


The U.S. Men’s National Team’s chances to qualify for the 2018 World Cup became slimmer with a 2-0 loss to Guatemala on Friday, March 25.  USMNT midfielder, Michael Bradley, said the team’s chances [to qualify] are on life support if they do not take care of business in a rematch against Guatemala set for Tuesday, March 29, in Columbus, Ohio.
