The Story:
- The road team has won each of the last three regular-season meetings between Orlando and Washington, with the Pride winning three straight league matches at Audi Field dating back to 2023. A victory on Sunday would make Orlando just the second club in NWSL history to win four consecutive regular-season road matches against the Spirit.
- Jacquie Ovalle's goal against Portland marked Orlando's eighth consecutive regular-season goal scored after halftime, the club's longest such streak in nearly a decade.
- The Pride's most recent outing against Portland introduced a new attacking option as Brazilian international Gabi Nunes made her club debut. The forward arrives with 118 professional club goals and experience spanning Brazil, Spain and England.
Quote of the Week:
“It is always a tough game going to Washington. They have a good set of players. Historically, we’ve done alright there over the last couple of occasions we have been to Audi Field. That should give us a lot of confidence that we can go out there and get three points.”
- Head Coach Seb Hines
