Paperless Ticketing FAQ
Q. What is paperless ticketing?
A. With paperless ticketing you are able to enter the stadium without the need of a physical ticket. No more worries about losing a ticket or realizing you left your ticket at home. You can now use our mobile app, LionNation, or go to AccountManager via the browser on your smartphone to access your ticket. The ticket taker will scan it as if it was a physical ticket, and you’re in!
Q. I’m a Season Ticket Member. Will I still receive a season ticket card?
A. As a Season Ticket Member there are two convenient ways to enter the building. 1) Membership Cards: You will receive one season ticket card for each seat on your account. This card will be scanned at the gate, giving you access into the stadium. 2) LionNation App: Scan your ticket directly from the app right from your phone. You can also transfer tickets on the spot with friends and family for added convenience.
Q. Why is Orlando City SC moving to paperless ticketing?
A. Paperless ticketing is the safest, most convenient and flexible way to receive and manage tickets. You’re probably already using your smartphone to attend movies or when you travel, so why not for live events? Paperless tickets provide:
- Quick and easy entry to the stadium using your smartphone
- The ability to manage, transfer or sell your tickets at any time
- Reduced risk of lost, stolen, counterfeit or forgotten tickets
- An easy way to go green by printing less paper
Q. How do I get the LionNation App?
A. The LionNation app is free. Prior to the start of the season we’ll send you an email when the app is available for download. It will be available for free on iTunes or Google Play. You can also manage your tickets by logging into your AccountManager. Your username is your email address. (If it’s your first time logging in you’ll need to select ‘Forgot Your Password’ to have a temporary password sent to you.
Q: Can I use a screenshot of my ticket?
A: No, screenshots of tickets will not be accepted, as our mobile tickets include an animation to ensure the tickets are verified. Mobile tickets must be presented within the app, the mobile website, or within your smartphone’s wallet.
Q. What if I’m not going to the game, but I purchased the tickets?
A. If you bought the tickets for a friend or family member, you will need to transfer the tickets to them which you can do through the LionNation app. It’s easy – select the game you would like to manage, select ‘Transfer Tickets’ and enter the email address. Once you transfer tickets, the recipient will receive an email notification. They will need to accept the transfer at which point the tickets will be in their account. (They must ‘accept the transfer’ to access the tickets.)
Q. What if I lose connectivity / can’t connect to my account?
A. We encourage you to download your tickets to your smartphone before heading to the game, and store them in the wallet on your smartphone. If your tickets are on a mobile web browser, avoid clearing out your browser history until after the event.
Q. How far in advance can I download tickets?
A. Tickets will be available to download 72 hours prior to the game.
Q: What is the alternative option if my phone breaks, dies, is lost or stolen on game day or prior to arriving?
A: If do not have a smartphone for any reason, you’ll need to visit the Box Office (located at Gate A on Church Street), on game day. Please have a valid ID for the name on the account.
Q: What if my phone breaks, dies, is lost or stolen after I’m in the stadium and I have no ticket to show the usher?
A: If you need ticket assistance after you’re in the stadium, please visit the Guest Services booth located across from Section 1.
Q: Can I have multiple tickets on a single phone?
A: Yes. You simply swipe right on the ticket images to see multiples. However, we encourage you to send a ticket to each person in your group so that they may easily travel throughout the stadium on game days and earn points toward their LionNation membership! LionNation members are able to earn points by attending the game and purchasing food and beverage, as well as merchandise. Those points can then be used to gain access to exclusive experiences! Q: What if my entire party isn’t with me when I enter the stadium?
A: You’ll need to send each member their ticket individually if they are not entering with you. Each person entering the stadium will need a ticket at time of entry.
Q: Does the person I send the tickets to need an account?
A: Yes. If they don’t have one already, they will create one in the acceptance process.
Q: What if I forward tickets to the wrong email address? Can I recall tickets I’ve sent?
A: As long as the tickets have not been accepted by the recipient, you can cancel a transfer.
Q: When is the cutoff to transfer tickets?
A: Tickets may be transferred throughout the game. Once the ticket is scanned, it will no longer be available for entry into the stadium.
