Orlando City SC Loans Heath and Barry to OCB Ahead of Road Matches

ORLANDO, Fla. (April 21, 2016) – Orlando City SC announced today the loan of midfielder Harrison Heath and striker Hadji Barry to Orlando City B in advance of road fixtures against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds on Friday, April 22, and the Harrisburg City Islanders on Monday, April 25.


Heath returns to match-fitness after recovering from a knee injury suffered in the fixture against English Premier League side West Bromwich Albion on July 15, 2015. The holding midfielder showcased an outstanding form during OCB’s preseason matches, managing the midfield and registering numerous goals and assists. Prior to that, the midfielder made three MLS appearances, two of them starts, notching 136 minutes.


Hadji Barry features for OCB after starting and playing 66 minutes of the team’s USL inaugural match on March 26. The speedy attacker was selected by the Lions as the No. 13 Overall pick of the 2016 MLS SuperDraft, following a standout collegiate career. The Guinean striker led the University of Central Florida in goals and points in 2015, finding the back of the net 11 times and registering 25 points. Barry also featured with the Orlando City U-23 side in 2015.


OCB goes on the road for two consecutive matches, facing the Riverhounds at Highmark Stadium on April 22 at 7 p.m. ET and then visiting Metro Bank Park to play Harrisburg City on April 25 at 7 p.m. ET. The Lions will return home to play Montreal on May 1 at the Titan Soccer Complex. Kickoff for that match is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.
