Defender Luke Boden spent a brisk Sunday morning at Cranes Roost Park, where children and parents gathered for the 4th Annual Let's Get Moving Kids Run/Walk. The day was a celebration of active healthy lifestyles, and brought together massive support.
Competitors chose from multiple distanced run/walks, competing in either the 5K, 3K, or 1/8 Mile runs. After their laps around the lake, everyone gathered around the stage for a raffle that included an Orlando City signed home jersey.
Let's Get Moving Kids is a non-for profit event sponsored primarily by the Forest City Spanish Seventh-Day Adventist Church. The proceeds will benefit children in our community by providing them with the programs that promotes healthy lifestyles like cooking classes, sports camps and CPR classes.
Fans took photos with Luke and had the opportunity to get his signature on Orlando City posters, magnets, and keychains. The kids even got to show their skills with a mini-clinic area station near the stage, which certainly kept everyone moving!
