ORLANDO, Fla. (Feb. 19, 2024) — Today, Orlando City SC and the Orlando Pride have announced an enhancement to the fan experience at INTER&Co Stadium, becoming the first soccer-specific venue to offer Amazon’s Just Walk Out technology for retail. Fans will be able to take advantage of the upgrade at The Den – the official team store of both clubs which is operated by Fanatics, a global digital sports platform and leading provider of fan apparel.

With Amazon’s Just Walk Out technology, fans will be able to spend less time checking out and more time enjoying the action on the pitch. Guests enter the store, take what they like, and leave—sometimes even wearing their fan gear—by using their credit card at the exit gate. When customers leave the store with their purchase, the RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) tags in their clothing and other apparel they select are read by RFID readers in the exit area, and the credit card they use to exit will be charged. Shortly after exiting the store, customers will be able to access their receipt at https://justwalkout.com/receipts.

“As we continue to listen to and act upon fan feedback, our goal is to deliver the best match day experience in professional sports at INTER&Co Stadium. The addition of Amazon’s Just Walk Out technology will be a significant enhancement that will not only simplify our check out experience, but allow our fans to get back to match action faster than ever,” said Orlando City and Orlando Pride President of Business Operations, Jarrod Dillon. “This investment is one of many we are making this offseason and continues to build off of the grab-and-go concession changes we added in 2023, as well as our continuously expanding Orlando Made food and beverage program. We’re excited for our fans to take advantage of the state-of-the-art technology offered by Amazon so they can spend more time rooting on City and Pride.”

Hours for The Den can be found at the link here.

The implementation of Amazon’s Just Walk Out technology is one of many venue upgrades the Club is investing in this offseason, in addition to the previously announced upgrades. INTER&Co Stadium will feature new enhancements including:

Wi-Fi Upgrades in Partnership with Atomic Data and Aruba

INTER&CO Stadium has been upgraded to Wi-Fi 6 and 6E, the fastest and most up-to-date technology available today. Additionally, 5G antennas have been installed throughout the venue to offer increased cell phone coverage for those attending events.

Videoboard and LED Fascia in Partnership with Revel and Absen

Fans will be treated to a best-in-class experience through the newly upgraded INTER&Co Stadium 60’x34’ videoboard, located in the southeast corner of the bowl. The videoboard is complemented by over 150 feet of new LED fascia signage, totaling over five million new LED pixels to create an immersive experience for fans.

Additionally, a new 16’x9’ LED wall in the West Club, providing all fans the ability to continue watching the match while taking advantage of the space’s complimentary food and beverage. The LED wall will also be utilized to enhance private events at the venue, with more information on booking INTER&Co Stadium event spaces available at the link here.

New Concourse and Premium Area TVs in Partnership with Revel

Acting on feedback from supporters, the Club has invested in over 230 new televisions throughout INTER&Co Stadium, including upgrades to the venue’s premium areas, and – by popular demand – TVs throughout the concourse and at concession stands so fans can keep an eye on the action no matter where they are inside the venue.

Orlando City & Pride Jersey History Experience, Presented by Orlando Health

Located in the concourse outside the West Club lobby, fans will be able to look back at some of the most iconic looks from Orlando City and Orlando Pride with the new Jersey History Experience presented by Orlando Health. The interactive display will showcase the Club’s kits, while providing insight and education on the stories that made each one so special.

Along the concourse, fans can also find a new Selfie Station, located near the INTER&Co Stadium Experience booth in Sec. 9. At the station, fans will be able to immortalize their visit to the venue and take a photo next to a digital version of their favorite Orlando City or Orlando Pride player.

Both the Jersey History Experience and Selfie Station are supported by technology from Revel.
