As a coach, Halfpenny began her career in the collegiate ranks as Head Coach of Mount Ida College (MA) / Assistant Athletic Director in 2001 and remained there until 2005. Shortly afterwards, Halfpenny took over as the Technical Director at Mount Laurel Soccer Club (NJ) from 2006-2010. Halfpenny is currently on the ODP Region 1 coaching staff. Halfpenny is the 2014 Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA) Competitive Coach of the Year.
A graduate of Mount Ida College, MA she graduated Valedictorian of her undergraduate class, before completing her M.B.A at Columbia Southern University in 2017.
As General Manager, Halfpenny oversees the day to day operations of the Business and Operations side of the Youth organization.

We are delighted to announce Paul Shaw will be promoted to Technical Director for the 2017-18 season. Paul will provide technical direction to all girls & boys technical programs. He will responsible for player and coach development as well as oversee all program coordinators/managers. Paul Shaw started his career at Arsenal joining the club as a 14 year old. He joined full time at 16 and played in the youth, reserves and First team during his 6 years at the club. At 17 he signed a Professional contract at Arsenal. During this time Paul also played for England Youth in the European Championships. At Arsenal he played under coaches such as Pat Rice, George Graham and was in the First Team squad for Arsene Wenger's first 18 months as manager. Paul was actually in Arsene Wenger very first squad for a Champions League game away against Borussia Moenchengladbach. He scored 2 goals for the first team both against Southampton. Paul played as a striker with many Arsenal legends such as Dennis Bergkamp, Ian Wright, Paul Merson and Patrick Viera. One of Paul's proudest achievements is being part of the 'Spirit of Highbury' which is a monument that can be found outside the Emirates Stadium that shows the 482 players that have played for Arsenal.
He moved onto Millwall then Gillingham. At both clubs he won the Player of the Year Awards. He then joined Sheffield Utd under Neil Warnock before joining Rotherham, Chesterfield then moving overseas to play for Hungary's biggest club Ferencvaros. He was the first Englishman to play in Hungary. Paul captained Ferencvaros to winning the second division by a record 17 points.Paul played over 450 professional games in a career that spanned over 20 years.

Playing Experience -
Phil grew up outside Edinburgh, Scotland. He played with clubs in the UK including Hibernian and Newcastle Academies. He moved to the USA when he was 19 and signed a scholarship with Thomas University in Georgia where he played all 4 years and captained the team his senior year. From there Phil went on to play in the PDL and USL with IMG, Nova Royals, and Crystal Palace USA.
Prior moving to Florida, Phil served as Technical Director of Maryland State Youth Soccer Association and ODP Region 1 Coach.
Over the past 14 years Phil has coached at many different levels including Competitive teams at Potomac and Bethesda Soccer Clubs (Age Group Coordinator/Head Coach) and ECNL- Orlando City Youth Soccer (Staff Coach). He has directed programs at Potomac Soccer Association (Director of Coaching) as well as lead Maryland State Youth Soccer Association as Technical Director. His collegiate and professional career experience includes Trinity University Women (Assistant Coach) and Evergreen Diplomats American Soccer League (Head Coach).

Senior Team Program Coordinator
Nick will coordinate all U13-U18 girls and boys purple, white and gold teams.
"I am thoroughly excited to add Nick to the staff as he has been involved in Collegiate and youth team coaching for several years. He is a young coach with a positive energy and passion for development.” said Shaw.
Nick joins OCYSC from Stetson University, a Division 1 collegiate program where is served as assistant coach. Prior to his appointment at Stetson he worked at St. John Fisher College (NY) and Syracuse Fusion Soccer Club from 2014 – 2016 before moving to Florida. Calo has a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from St. John Fisher College (NY).
Most recently Coach Sephton was the Boys Junior Team Coordinator at OCYS. He is an advocate for youth development and passionate about teaching the game. "Kevin is an excellent developer of young talent. He is very experienced in youth soccer and has had a big impact on the young players at OCYS for over 2 years. I'm delighted that he's accepted this role" said Technical Director Paul Shaw.
Kevin has a long history in youth soccer in Florida and North Carolina (NC). After a successful stint in Tampa, FL. he and his family moved to NC. with Charlotte United (CUFU) and was appointed the Boys Director at CUFC, then a club of just 20 teams. As CUFC doubled its size the next year, Kevin moved into the role of the U13-U14 Boys Director of Coaching. That same year, he was the first coach to win a State Cup title with his 89’ Boys team.
Robbie Gobble will join OCYS for the 2018-19 season as Girls ECNL Program Manager.
Robbie first joined OCYS in 2013 as staff coach having spent over 6 years with Beach FC, Virginia working with College bound players. Upon joining OCYS he spent most of his time working with the Pre ECNL teams and under his leadership the 2004 Pre ECNL girls won the FYSA State Cup Championship in 2017. Robbie moved to the Orlando Pride for the 2017-18 season where he is currently a DA staff coach. He will join OCYS at the conclusion of the 2017-18 DA season.

Stephen is one of OCYS' longest serving staff members. Stephen oversees the Community Programs; Little Lions, Junior Lions and Developmental Lions as well as having a keen interest in Coaching Education. Stephen starred internationally for England Futsal Team. He is one of England's most capped futsal players.

Director of Youth Goalkeeping
Louis joins OCYSC after spending time at Northern Kentucky University (KY), Cincinnati United Premier and Binghamton University (NY) as Goalkeeping coach. Louis also directed the Goalkeeping program at SoccerPlus Goalkeeping School (CT) that was founded by legend Tony DiCicco.
"Louis has a proven track record of recruiting and developing some of the best goalkeepers in the nation and has extensive network of collegiate contacts and youth experience. I am excited to have him join us and know he will continue the success of the Goalkeeping program at OCYSC," said Shaw, Technical Director.
“Louis and I have known each other for years. I worked with him at SoccerPlus ANTC last summer and was very impressed by how far he was along in his coaching development at his age. He is a teacher of the game first and foremost. When I had the opportunity to make recommendations after taking the OCB and DA role he was my first choice. We have a very similar idea about the position from our coaching backgrounds. He is a very hard worker and I think that the families and GKs will see just how lucky they are to have him on board” said OCB GK Director Chris Barocas.
Louis has designed and implemented goalkeeper development programs and training sessions and was also responsible for development of team and individual practice plans, scouting, scheduling, national and international recruiting while at Northern Kentucky and Binghamton University. While at Binghamton, Liberatore was the U17 Boy's Premiere Team Head Coach for the Greater Binghamton United FC from 2014 to 2016. Prior to this time, Louis completed stints as the Graduate Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at Frostburg State University and Assistant Goalkeeper Coach for the Belmont Abbey College women's soccer program.

One of OCYS' longest serving staff members, Tanya has been Club Registrar and overseen administration since 2008. During her tenure, Tanya has served on FYSA regional board's as District Commissioner and participated in the administration of both State and Region Cups. Tanya oversees player and team registration, player and team accounts and front office.
Tanya oversees tournament operations for the trilogy of OCYS tournaments and manages the day to day operations of each event.
Joanne is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a background in business. She has worked in property management as a General Manager for Central Parking System. Her experience with overseeing the city operations for Orlando included developing accounts, overseeing a Management Team, Facilities, and Field Employees, as well as Administrative Office Staff. Joanne dealt directly with P&L variance reports and worked with an annual budget development of over $18 million in total revenue, as well as a city wide cost containment program including: overtime, cash control issues, and city inventory. She also brings experience as a manager of Accounts Payable and Purchasing Supervisor through her past positon as a Career Development Analyst for Stone & Webster Engineering Corporation.
Dan graduated from University of Central Lancashire in 2012 with an undergraduate degree in Sports Coaching. As Operations Coordinator Dan will be responsible for field assignment for training & games, as well as game day coordination.
William is both English and Spanish speaking and serves as Assistant Registrar. He primarily works with US Club registrations and assists the registration of USYS players and teams.
