Going for the Sweep
The Pride have had North Carolina’s number lately, going unbeaten in their last six regular-season meetings with four wins and two draws. Orlando secured a 1-0 victory over the Courage earlier this season thanks to Barbra Banda’s dramatic 87th-minute winner, and will now look to complete a season sweep of North Carolina for the first time since 2017.
Coming Out of the Gate
Orlando’s attacking intent has been evident from the opening whistle in 2026. The Pride fired 20 first-half shots in the match against Chicago, the second-most in the opening 45 minutes of a game in NWSL history. Their 128 shots and 45 first-half shots on target both rank as the league’s best this season.
Strength in Numbers
With Barbra Banda away at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, the Pride showcased their attacking depth against Chicago. Five different Orlando players recorded shots on target in the match, marking it as just the fourth such occurrence in NWSL history and the first since 2023.

Julie Doyle came through with the opener in the match against Chicago Stars FC, scoring her first goal of the 2026 campaign. The strike was her eighth goal for Orlando, moving her further up the Club’s all-time scoring ranks, while Cori Dyke added her first goal of the season to help secure all three points.
Chasing Another Record
Anna Moorhouse enters the weekend on the verge of another Club record. Her two saves against Chicago leveled her with Ashlyn Harris for the most regular-season saves in Orlando Pride history with 289. Behind Moorhouse, the Pride defense has been among the league’s best, recording seven shutouts this season, tied for the third-most in the NWSL.
