Grounding the Dash
The Pride have won five of their last seven meetings with the Houston Dash, including each of the last four played in Orlando, marking the club's longest home winning streak against a single opponent. Orlando went unbeaten in the 2025 season series, earning a 1-0 victory at Inter.co Stadium on June 7 thanks to defender Cori Dyke's last-gasp stoppage-time winner before playing to a 1-1 draw in Houston on Oct. 3.
Banda’s Home Cooking
Barbra Banda scored Orlando's lone goal in its Aug. 29 match against the Utah Royals, finding the back of the net in the first half for her 13th goal of the 2026 season, the second-most in the NWSL. Banda has scored nine goals in nine home matches this year and has found the back of the net in seven different home appearances, one shy of joining Temwa Chawinga (10 in 2024), Kim Little (eight in 2014) and Amy Rodriguez (eight in 2014) as the only players in NWSL history to score in at least eight home matches in a single season.
Chasing History
Barbra Banda's first-half strike against the Utah Royals marked her 13th goal of the 2026 regular season, tying the Orlando Pride single-season record originally set by Marta in 2017 and matched by Banda in 2024. The Zambian international enters Sunday's match against Houston one goal away from becoming the club's all-time single-season scoring leader.
It’s Summer time
Forward Summer Yates recorded her second assist of the 2026 campaign on Barbra Banda's goal against the Utah Royals on Aug. 29. The helper marked the fifth assist and 10th goal contribution of Yates' NWSL career, bringing her career totals to five goals and five assists.
Half Century for Rafa
Defender Rafaelle's next appearance will mark the 50th of her Orlando Pride career across all competitions. The Brazilian international joined the club during the 2023 season and scored her first and only NWSL goal in her Pride debut against the Chicago Red Stars on Aug. 20, 2023, before helping Orlando capture both the NWSL Shield and NWSL Championship during the club's historic 2024 campaign.
