Orlando Pride Signs Forward Gabi Nunes

ORLANDO, Fla. (Aug. 4, 2026) – Orlando Pride has signed forward Gabi Nunes through the end of the 2026 season, the club announced today. Nunes will join the Pride pending receipt of her P-1 visa and International Transfer Certificate (ITC).

“Gabi is a player with extensive experience at both the club and international levels, and we're excited to welcome her to Orlando,” said Caitlin Carducci, Orlando Pride Vice President of Soccer Operations and General Manager. “She has consistently performed in top leagues around the world and brings quality, versatility and a proven ability to score goals. We believe she will be a valuable addition to our group as we continue pursuing our goals.” 

Nunes, 29, joins the Pride following a stint with Aston Villa of England's Women's Super League. Prior to her time in England, the Brazilian forward featured for Levante UD and Madrid CFF of Spain's Liga F. Before moving overseas, she spent six seasons with Corinthians in Brazil's Brasileirão Feminino after making her professional debut with Centro Olímpico in 2014. Across her 232 professional club appearances, Nunes has tallied 118 goals across all competitions. 

On the international stage, Nunes has represented Brazil since the youth levels and made her senior national team debut in 2016. The São Paulo, Brazil, native has tallied eight goals in 38 appearances for the Seleção and represented her country at the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, the 2024 Concacaf W Gold Cup and the 2024 Summer Olympics, helping Brazil earn a silver medal at the Paris Games.
