NEW YORK / SAN JOSE, Calif. (August 26, 2026) – Women’s soccer fans will be able to catch exclusive National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) matches live on the Roku Sports Channel, starting August 30. The Roku Sports Channel will be the exclusive streaming home of eight Sunday Night matches during the remainder of the 2026 campaign—including the Orlando Pride’s home match against the Houston Dash on September 6—followed by an expanded package of 25 Sunday Night matches in 2027, giving fans a consistent, free destination to watch NWSL action throughout the season.

The Roku Sports Channel is available for free through The Roku Channel (no subscription required). The Roku Channel is available on Roku devices and TVs, TheRokuChannel.com, iOS and Android devices, Amazon Fire TV, Samsung TVs, Google TVs, and other Android TV OS devices.

Fans can visit NWSLSoccer.com for the complete, updated 2026 broadcast schedule and information on where to watch every NWSL match for the remainder of the season.

“We're thrilled to be elevating our partnership with NWSL to include this exclusive package of Sunday Night matches, leading into and during what will be a watershed year for women's soccer," said Joe Franzetta, Head of Sports at Roku. “As sports fandom is continuing to grow alongside streaming access to sports, our audience reach will bring the NWSL matches to more than half of U.S. streaming households and deepen our commitment to highlighting women's sports.”

The Roku Sports Channel will launch the first match of the partnership with NWSL on August 30 with Seattle Reign FC vs. the Houston Dash. In 2026, the matches will air through Oct. 25, culminating with a match between San Diego Wave FC and Boston Legacy FC. Roku will also air a Sunday Night match every week of the 2027 season, on a to-be-announced schedule.

“As we continue to grow the NWSL’s audience, we’re focused on making it as easy as possible for fans to find and watch our matches wherever they are,” said NWSL Chief Marketing Officer Rachel Epstein. “Roku’s tremendous scale and accessibility make them an exciting partner as we bring more NWSL matches to more viewers and continue building consistent destinations for fans to engage with our league.”

In 2025, Roku announced an NWSL Zone in their Sports experience that showcases live and upcoming matches from the premier professional women’s soccer league, together with clips and highlights from every league match, creating a space for fans to easily watch live matches for free or purchase through the dedicated, centralized zone on the Roku platform. This expanded partnership reflects a shared focus on making women’s soccer more accessible and discoverable for fans while complementing Roku’s broader investment in women’s sports storytelling, including the “Gamechangers” documentary series.

Part of what makes Roku so effective at driving discovery and engagement for their partners is their focus on simplifying the experience for the viewer’s needs first. Roku was the top platform in the United States for streaming the World Cup® according to Nielsen. In North America, Roku’s Sports Zones saw a 122% increase in streaming hours and 80% growth in unique visitors year-over-year in Q2.
