Emma Nunan was added to the Pride staff in June 2017 as Team Administration Manager before moving into her current role as Director of Team Operations and Player Affairs in July of 2023. Before joining the Pride, Nunan worked for the NWSL's Washington Spirit for three seasons in a variety of roles, including Operations, Administration, Communications, and Equipment. Â
In her current role, Nunan works closely with the Vice President of Soccer Operations & General Manager and Head Coach in providing dedicated team operations support on a day-to-day basis. She manages aspects of team operations and player administration, including travel, logistics, scheduling, player onboarding, communications on NWSL sporting and player protocols, and Team Operations budget planning and management. Nunan oversees Equipment and Player Care and leads coordination with Security, Facilities, and Groundskeeping personnel. She also supports the Vice President of Soccer Operations & General Manager on all player transactions, international transfers, and registrations with NWSL and U.S. Soccer.Â
Nunan graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 2012, prior to completing her Masters (MTA) in Sports Management from George Washington University in 2016.
