Pride Convincing at Home

The Pride got off to a flying start against the Boston Breakers last night on a rainy evening at Orlando City Stadium. Rookie forward Rachel Hill had a brace within the first fifteen minutes and the attack-minded Pride were dominating possession up the field. Hill, Chioma Ubogagu, Marta and Alex Morgan were all in devastating form going forward.

The midfield areas were controlled by Alanna Kennedy and Dani Weatherholt; with Camila, Ali Krieger, Monica and Camila all putting in excellent performances defensively.

Winning and scoring outbursts have become a normality for the Pride at home. Orlando has netted 13 times in the last four home matches, conceding just three goals in that span.

OCB Continues Record Streak

Pierre Da Silva scored his second goal of the season on Thursday night in a 1-1 draw against Bethlehem Steel FC. Da Silva gave OCB the lead in the 75th minute with a quality finish after combining with Albert Dikwa down the left flank. Steel FC equalized late through Marcus Epps and the tightly contested match would end as a draw.

Orlando City B has not lost a match since June and currently sit sixth in the USL Eastern Conference. The top eight teams in each conference qualify for postseason play beginning October 22nd.
