Philadelphia Union Off To A Rough Start


The Union earned a draw over the weekend against the Montreal Impact in a match that they totally dominated for most of the first half. The Union scored three goals in the first 40 minutes of the match, and then proceeded to let Montreal come back to earn a 3-3 draw. The Union are winless so far this season leaving them in search of answers early on in the year.


Top Teams in the West Faceoff on Saturday


FC Dallas beat Sporting Kansas City 1-0 in Week Eight, making them the only team left undefeated in MLS. In the six matches they have played, they have fourteen points from four wins and two draws. But Dallas will face a tough match this coming weekend when they host the Portland Timbers-- currently leading the league with sixteen points in eight matches-- at Toyota Stadium this Saturday. 


LAFC Making Moves For Chicharito 


LAFC is making significant moves for Mexican national team star Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez. Metro’s Kristian Dyer, the deal could make Chicharito the “highest salaried player in MLS history.” The contract is rumored to be more than $10 million per season. He has 46 goals in 90 appearances for the Mexican national team.
