McLain

ORLANDO, Fla. (December 16, 2016) - Orlando City SC has selected goalkeeper Patrick McLain in Stage One of the 2016 Major League Soccer (MLS) Re-Entry Draft earlier today.

McLain joins the Lions following stints with the Chicago Fire, where he backed up standout goalkeeper Sean Johnson, and its United Soccer League (USL) affiliate, Saint Louis FC, in 2016.

In 2015, the Eau Claire, WI., native featured in 29 matches across all competitions and recorded 71 saves with 2014 USL champion Sacramento Republic FC, after notching 15 appearances with Orange County Blues in the 2014 USL campaign.

The 28-year-old signed with Chivas USA in 2012 and made his MLS debut in 2013 before a loan spell with USL Pro side Los Angeles Blues.
