MLS Playoffs Continue on Tuesday


The MLS Playoffs continue this Tuesday, November 22nd, with the Montreal Impact hosting Toronto FC in the Eastern Conference Finals and the Seattle Sounders hosting the Colorado Rapids in the Western Conference Finals. The Rapids will have to face the high-scoring Seattle offense without their starting goalkeeper, Tim Howard, who was injured in the United States match against Mexico. The battle in Canada pits two rivals against each other, and the Montreal Impact have already sold upwards of 50,000 tickets for their rivalry matchup.


Atlanta United Unveils New Kit


Atlanta United unveiled their primary kits for the 2017 season earlier this week. The kits feature red and black stripes, and have gold lettering and trim. The team currently has seven players on their roster, and theyā€™re gearing up for the MLS Expansion Draft in December. Their head coach is Argentinian legend Tata Martino. 


Steven Gerrard Announces Departure from L.A Galaxy


Steven Gerrard announced that he will not sign a new contract with the L.A Galaxy when his expires at the end of next month. The Liverpool legend has not announced whether or not he will continue to play, but rumors have linked him to clubs such as Celtic and Newcastle United. Gerrard scored five goals in 34 appearances during his two MLS seasons.
