Orlando City Faces New York Rivals


Orlando City will face New York City FC (NYCFC) as part of the MLS Heineken Rivalry Week. Orlando City and NYCFC both entered the league at the same time, and Orlando City Head Coach Jason Kreis served as NYCFC’s inaugural head coach. The game also features two players in contention for the Golden Boot: David Villa and Cyle Larin. This rivalry match is sure to be heated.

Pride Return to NWSL Action


After taking nearly a month off for the Olympic break, the Orlando Pride returned to action Friday, August 26th against the Washington Spirit. The match ended in a disappointing 2-1 loss, but the Pride are happy to be back in action and have their Olympians home.

Golden Boot Race Heats Up


While Orlando City dropped the game on Wednesday night against Toronto FC, losing 2-1 after Toronto got the go-ahead goal late in the second half, Cyle Larin managed to find the back of the net again. Giving him 13 goals on the season, this latest goal keeps him in contention for the Golden Boot award, given to the player with the most goals at the end of the season.
