DraftKings Players to Watch: Larin and Cerén Lead Charge

DK Larin

Orlando City travels to Vancouver to take on the Whitecaps in a quick, three-day turnaround since their last match. We’ve done your scouting for you, and here are some players to look out for.

Haven’t tried DraftKings? It’s easy. Each player is given a salary cap of $50,000 to draft their eleven player lineup. Players’ salaries are determined by their on-field performance, FPPG, or Fantasy Points Per Game.

Cyle Larin 11.3 FPPG $8,300– City’s leading goal scorer should see time in Saturday’s match in Vancouver after coming on in the 60th minute against the Red Bulls. Orlando is searching for an offensive breakthrough, and going to the reigning MLS Rookie of the Year has never done them wrong. Look for Larin to make an impact in what could be a statement game for the Lions.

Darwin Ceren 6.2 FPPG $4,100 – In his first match as interim coach, Bobby Murphy –to the surprise of many – played Ceren on the wing. However, against New York, he came on as a substitution in the defensive midfielder position. Ceren played whole-heartedly in both positions, so no matter where he lands in the starting XI, expect the 26 year-old Salvadoran to make his presence known.

Joe Bendik 4.9 FPPG $3,600 – The man is a save machine, and is in the top five in MLS in saves. He faces a lot of shots – the second-most in the league – so there are bound to be goals conceded. But Bendik has been a dominating presence in net and is one of the main reasons Orlando City in still in striking distance of the playoffs.
