Another Orlando City game went down to the wire, and in the 100th minute Kaká put the game-winning penalty kick into the back of the net as City continued its undefeated streak. Cyle Larin and Adrian Winter also scored in the 3-2 win, which was halted twice for water breaks as the on-field temperature reached over 100 degrees Fahrenheit, leading to the over eight minutes of stoppage time.

Jazmyne Spencer’s Late Goal Gives Pride the Edge


In the 91st minute, Jazmyne Spencer scored her first goal on the season for Orlando as the Pride took down the Houston Dash 1-0 to remain undefeated at Camping World Stadium. Keeper Ashlyn Harris also notched her fourth shutout on the year. The Pride have a quick turnaround as they face the league-leading Portland Thorns FC – who’ve yet to lose – on Sunday evening at 5:00 PM on Brighthouse Sports Network.

Bright House Sports Network to Air Four Pride Matches


In other Pride news, Bright House Sports Network has agreed to broadcast four of the Orlando Pride’s upcoming matches. It’s a significant agreement for the NWSL and one of its newest teams. Their first televised match was Thursday’s thrilling win over Houston, so viewers were treated to quite an exciting match.

Orlando City Players Reach Out to Community


Orlando City stars Cyle Larin, Kevin Molino, and Harrison Heath, visited the Conductive Education Center of Orlando (CECO) this past week to speak with some of their biggest fans. CECO is an educational facility for young children with motor disabilities, and all of them were delighted to have City players visiting them. But the biggest impact was the profound one the children had on the players.
