Alex Morgan Lifts Pride to 1-0 Win


Pride star forward Alex Morgan scored her second goal of the season Saturday with a gorgeous chip shot over WNY Flash goalkeeper Sabrina D’Angelo. Morgan ran through two defenders and under a Kristen Edmonds pass and just floated it over a sprawling D’Angelo for the win. Her goal kept the Pride’s perfect 3-0-0 home record intact.

As the Club announced last Friday, Orlando City and English Premier League side Stoke City have entered into a formal partnership. There are plenty of benefits to such collaboration, such as tapping into each other’s scouting network, sharing best practices and other tricks of the trade.

Orlando City B Developing Lions of the Future


Things have continued developing for Orlando City SC in Year 2. One of the biggest differences is that the Club now has Orlando City B, a USL affiliate in Melbourne, where the team’s future stars are earning valuable minutes that they didn’t get last year. Players like Tyler Turner, Conor Donovan and Harrison Heath are all getting the minutes they need to continue developing to reach their full potential.
