DraftKings Players To Watch: Three Impact Players For Orlando City

DraftKings wk2 2

This Sunday, Orlando City takes on Real Salt Lake in their season opener. Here is a list of potential impact players to consider for your DraftKings roster.

Haven’t tried DraftKings? It’s easy. Each player is given a salary cap of $50,000 to draft their eleven player lineup. Players’ salaries are determined by their on-field performance, FPPG, or Fantasy Points Per Game.

Orlando City Players to look out for:

Joe Bendik- GK: 2.4 FPPG $3,900-- At the end of last season, it looked like Adrian Heath had found the formula for stopping the Chicago Fire’s speedy attack. If Orlando City can continue to limit David Accam and Kennedy Igboananike, Joe Bendik should stand to benefit. The newcomer to Orlando City seems to have settled in and has looked strong in training all week.

Antonio Nocerino- MID: 0 FPPG $3,500-- We don’t know exactly how many minutes Antonio Nocerino will play this week, but if his week of practice is any indication he’ll be a threat to score when he takes the pitch. The Italian midfielder has shown off his scoring prowess in his first full week of practice with the team - even impressing his head coach. At just $3,500 he may be worth the risk for your lineup this week.

Brek Shea- DEF: 19.5 FPPG $4,100-- After a massive 19.5 point performance against Real Salt Lake last week, Brek Shea is a must-have for your lineup this week. Shea found himself in attacking positions for most of the game last Sunday, and if that trend continues he could be a lucrative endeavor as a defender in your lineup.

Around the League:

Diego Fagundez- FWD: 29 FPPG $5,000-- Fagundez ended last season in a goal-scoring slump, but got off to the right start with a brilliant finish last week at Houston. He’s a streaky scorer, but add him to your lineup at the right time and you could reap the benefits.

Will Bruin- FWD: 14.5 FPPG $5,600— Bruin got his season off to a great start last week with two assist. He’s a constant contributor who can finish, but also likes to spread the ball around. If you’ve spent too much money on the rest of your lineup, Bruin is a good value add in Houston’s matchup with FC Dallas this weekend.
