Draft Kings Players to Watch | Week 24

Draft Kings Week 24

There will be plenty of great fantasy options on the same field when Orlando City visits the Seattle Sounders on Sunday. But thanks to DraftKings’ daily format, you don’t have to wait until Sunday to have some fantasy soccer fun.

Each player is given a salary of $50,000 to spend in each daily league they enter on assembling his or her roster. Players’ salaries are determined by their on-field performance, FPPG, or Fantasy Points Per Game. Each roster consists of two forwards, two midfielders, two defenders, a keeper, and one flex spot (any field player).

Here are Sunday’s best options from Orlando City and Seattle:

Tally Hall – GK, Orlando City: 5.7 FPPG, $5,100 – Tally Hall posted his fourth clean sheet of the season in last week’s 0-0 draw with Philadelphia. And Orlando City’s backline only got better since then with the addition of Spanish center back David Mateos.

Luke Boden – D, Orlando City: 5.4 FPPG, $4,500 – Boden has started the last three games for City and has a goal and two assists in those games. He’s benefitted from Corey Ashe moving to left back, though, which has allowed Bodz to play farther up the pitch as a midfielder.

Tyrone Mears – D, Seattle Sounders: 7.7 FPPG, $5,2000 – The Manchester, England product has started and played a full 90 minutes in 23 of Seattle’s 24 games this season. With those kinds of minutes, it’s no wonder that he has a goal and three assists this season.

Lamar Neagle – M, Seattle Sounders: 6 FPPG, $6,400 – Neagle has played a huge role in keeping the Sounders afloat through their recent struggles. He’s started ten of the past 11 and has four goals and an assist this season.

Cyle Larin – F, Orlando City: 5.7 FPPG, $5,100 – Rookie of the Year frontrunner Larin leads Orlando City in goals and is tied for fourth in the league. He’s been on a bit of a tear of late, scoring five goals in his last four contests.

Others From Around MLS

Fabián Espíndola – F, D.C. United: 12.9 FPPG, $12,500 – Espíndola has two goals in his last three games and could be in for a big game on Thursday. NYCFC has allowed 13 goals in their last five games.

Benny Feilhaber – M, Sporting Kansas City: 12.7 FPPG, $9,700 – Feilhaber jumped into a tie for first place in MLS in assists after is goal-and-assist performance in Toronto last week. The USMNTer is red hot, with three goals and three assists in his last four games.
