On Friday June 28, Orlando City Soccer Club players Ian Fuller, Jamie Watson, Dennis Chin, Long Tan, Rob Valentino and Miguel Gallardo and their team mascot, Kingston, visited Arnold Palmer Hospital for a pep rally! Both patients and Orlando Health team members loved the opportunity to meet and greet some of the OCSC players.
Orlando City team members set up an inflatable goal, so the children could kick a ball around with the players which they thoroughly enjoyed! Kids loved having pictures with them and getting their shirts signed while also accumulating a few OC goodies such as keychains and pencils.
Orlando City ticketing staff were in attendance, selling over 1,000 tickets to the June 29 match. The players helped keep them entertained while they waited in line, and thanked them for their support!
Two players, Rob and Dennis, went into the ward and to meet some of the children that weren't able to come outside. They chatted with them and gave the children signed programs and world cup sticker books. The children were so thankful and wrapped up a great day with a great event!
