Wilding Makes Home Debut
Orlando City B returns to Osceola County Stadium on Sunday for its first home match under head coach Eddie Wilding, who was appointed April 9. The Young Lions will look to build momentum in their first appearance in front of the home crowd since the coaching change as Wilding continues to implement his ideas early in his tenure. Sunday’s match also marks an opportunity for Orlando City B to establish an identity at home against Carolina Core FC, with a 1-1-1 record at home against the Core all-time.
Sarajian Continues Strong Start
Forward Harvey Sarajian provided the lone goal in Orlando City B’s most recent outing, a 3-1 road loss to Chattanooga FC on April 11. Sarajian finished a well-worked second-half sequence off a free kick, muscling through defenders before firing a low right-footed shot into the corner for his third goal of the season, tying him for the team lead. Sarajian has now recorded a goal contribution in each of his first five games as a professional, since being selected in the first round of the 2026 MLS SuperDraft.
Fresh Faces Earn Opportunities
The match in Chattanooga featured several lineup milestones as Matthew Belgodere, Landon Okonski and Issah Haruna each earned their first starts for Orlando City B. Ignacio Gómez also made his club debut as a second-half substitute, adding to a night that saw multiple players gain early-season experience as the squad continues to evolve.
Lions Roll Against Core
Orlando City B will look to draw confidence from its earlier meeting with Carolina Core FC this season, a 3-2 road victory on March 14 in which the Young Lions rallied from a two-goal deficit. Harvey Sarajian sparked the comeback with a second-half goal and later assisted on Justin Ellis’ equalizer before Caleb Trombino headed home the game-winner in stoppage time off a Gustavo Caraballo free kick, completing a dramatic late surge.
