Season Series Decider

Orlando City B and Chattanooga FC enter Saturday’s matchup with the 2026 season series tied at one win apiece. Chattanooga took the first meeting between the Clubs on April 11, before the Lions responded with a 5-2 victory at Osceola Heritage Park on June 15, rallying from a 2-1 halftime deficit behind a second-half brace from Pedro Leão. Orlando City SC forward Harvey Sarajian has been a key contributor throughout the series, finding the back of the net in both meetings against Chattanooga this season.

Lions on the Prowl

Through the first 18 matches of the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro campaign, Orlando City B's 39 goals rank second in MLS NEXT Pro to Crown Legacy FC. The Lions have been held scoreless just once and have scored four or more goals in three matches, including a five-goal performance in their May 31 win over Chattanooga FC. The five goals marked OCB’s highest-scoring output in a match since a 5-0 victory over Huntsville City FC on May 26, 2024.

Rising Star Recognition

Orlando City Academy forward Matthew Belgodere was named MLS NEXT Pro Rising Star of Matchweek 19 after scoring the game-winning goal in the 75th minute of the Lions’ 2-1 victory over FC Cincinnati 2. The honor marks Belgodere’s second Rising Star selection of the season after he earned Matchweek 14 recognition for his stoppage-time winner in a 3-2 victory over Carolina Core FC on June 7. Belgodere’s latest recognition marks the fourth time an Orlando City B player has earned MLS NEXT Pro Rising Star of the Matchweek honors this season, joining Caleb Trombino, Matchweek 3, and Luca Maxim, Matchweek 10.

Fixture in Purple

Forward Pedro Leão made his 15th start of the 2026 campaign in the Lions’ 2-1 victory over FC Cincinnati 2, joining Bernardo Rhein as the only Orlando City B players to start at least 15 matches this season. Leão currently leads OCB with seven goals in 2026 and sits alongside Gustavo Caraballo and Harvey Sarajian as the only players with at least eight goal contributions this season.
