Kissimmee, Fla. (Aug. 23, 2025) – Shak Mohammed delivered a dramatic stoppage-time winner as Orlando City B (8-11-4, 30 points) stormed back to edge Atlanta United 2 (5-8-8, 25 points) 2-1 on Saturday evening at Osceola County Stadium. With the result, the young Lions remain unbeaten at home against their division rival.

All three goals came in a lively second half. Atlanta struck first in the 48th minute when forward Patrick Weah latched onto a pass from Santiago Pita and slotted home the opener. OCB responded just five minutes later, as forward Thalles delivered a first-touch strike from just outside the penalty box following a through ball from midfielder Colin Guske. The equalizer was Thalles’ third career goal for OCB, while the assist marked Guske’s first of the season and third all-time for the young Lions.

The match looked destined for a draw until the dying seconds of stoppage time. Defender Hayden Sargis struck a lofted pass from just outside the edge of the Lions’ 16-yard box that bounced twice into Atlanta territory as Mohammed got on the end of it. The First Team midfielder knocked the ball past an Atlanta defender and the keeper with his first touch and then delivered a low, driven shot into the bottom of the net with his second touch to score his 10th goal of the season and secure the home victory.
