Match Report: Orlando City B falls 3-0 in road defeat at New York City FC II

NEW YORK (Aug. 11, 2026) — Orlando City B (8-7-7, 35 points) fell 3-0 to New York City FC II (9-7-4, 33 points) on Tuesday morning at Icahn Stadium in the clubs’ lone meeting of the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro regular season.

NYCFC II opened the scoring in the 10th minute when Kevin Pierre powered a loose ball in the box into the back of the net. The hosts doubled the advantage three minutes later as Maximo Carrizo capitalized on an OCB turnover in the defensive third and slotted home his finish, sending the Pigeons into halftime with a 2-0 lead.

Six minutes into the second half, Carrizo finished off a Cooper Flax cross for his second goal of the match. Orlando City B pushed to respond over the remainder of the contest, but the hosts held firm defensively to secure the 3-0 result.
