I have been involved in soccer since the early days of playing it with my brother and his mates to being a season ticket holder at Stoke City to then starting the Club that is now Orlando City. I feel very passionately that we should all make an effort to make the community in which we live a better place for everyone. Orlando City is fortunate to have a wonderful group of young men who give up their time and talent off the field to be role models to the children and families in Central Florida, demonstrating why exercise and healthy eating are so important. The Foundation will help move this effort forward and make an even bigger impact, joining forces with other organizations to deliver the message far and wide. I am beyond excited at possibilities that are in the future of both the Club and the Foundation.

I was introduced to soccer in 1994 when my mother worked for FIFA when some of the World Cup matches were held at the Citrus Bowl in downtown Orlando. I was able to meet many of the FIFA employees and watch the games from the press box and the field. I still have my id badge and boxes of memorabilia from the games in Orlando.
I by chance met Phil and Kay Rawlins at an Orlando Business Journal event when they first got to Orlando and have been friends ever since. My son and I have volunteered for the team since their first season. Currently my husband and both of my younger children play soccer weekly so it’s a huge part of my daily life. There is always a minimum of three soccer balls in my living room at any given time.
My day job is managing BKHM CPAs, a firm located conveniently across the street from the Orlando City offices. I am the IT/Marketing and Office Manager for the firm and have been with them since 2003. I have really enjoyed all of my involvement with the club and the Foundation and look forward to many years of promoting and seeing them get to the MLS – Go City!

I have been involved in sports either as a participant or a spectator for most of my life. I played on the tennis team in middle and high school. Also, I competed on the United States Tennis Association and American Tennis Association junior circuit. One of my favorite pastimes is attending the U.S. Open Tennis Tournament in New York City. My first exposure to soccer was watching the 1994 World Cup matches at the Citrus Bowl. Since that time, I have become a huge fan.
I began volunteering for the Orlando City Foundation during the summer of 2015. As an Orlando native, it has been a great pleasure to watch Kay and Phil make such a positive impact on our community. Their compassion and good works have been a true blessing to the children and families who live in Central Florida.
With regard to my profession, I started my law firm in 2012. I specialize in drafting and reviewing contracts.

I believe that Orlando City Soccer Club is going to make Central Florida a better place for all residents regardless of their passion for soccer. The Foundation is one of the key ways Orlando City will impact the community for the better.
The Foundation is becoming involved in several endeavors in the Central Florida community that I feel passionate about. I am looking forward to being a part of this Foundation and making a difference in people’s lives through the sport of soccer.

Soccer became an in-law of mine when I married my English husband in 2005. He played his entire life, including two years with the Orlando Lions, in the early 1990’s. I’ve adopted my husbands’ appreciation for the sport and we encourage our three boys to play as well.
We had the pleasure of meeting Orlando City President Phil Rawlins and Foundation Chair Kay Rawlins at a game and became quick friends. Having a background in Marketing, Public Relations and non-profit fundraising, I am always looking for opportunities to help use my skills to better the community that I live in.
My professional career took a backseat to my less professional career of raising our 3 children in 2006. Prior to that I worked in advertising and corporate marketing with restaurant brands, AT&T, and multiple travel partners developing online and traditional marketing campaigns on a national and international level. I’ve volunteered my time since 2006 to help keep my skills sharp while giving back where I could help. I find my best ideas come during long runs as I continue to train for my next marathon. I look forward to working with this impressive group of people and the Orlando City Foundation.

Sports and community engagement define me to a large extent. I played sports up through high school, played tennis and soccer at Rollins College, hosted a sports talk show and broadcast Rollins basketball games on WPRK, and even coached the Winter Park High school boys JV team while in college. Much of my career has been in sports marketing, spending several years with Florida Citrus Sports, the Central Florida Sports Commission, the Chicago Sports Commission and a few sports marketing agencies along the way. Two career highlights include working the 1994 World Cup matches in Orlando and leading Central Florida's bid and event operations efforts for the men's and women's preliminary rounds of the 1996 Olympic Games.
I've seen a lot of sports teams come and go in this market. But when I met Phil Rawlins in 2010, I sensed this "minor league" team had a chance to succeed. I quickly learned that there was nothing minor about Orlando City and Phil and Kay Rawlins. Leaving Central Florida in 2011 to become the first Executive Director of the Chicago Sports Commission took me away from the progress of Orlando City Soccer. When I returned in June of 2014, I was "blown away" by the success on and off the field. Having the opportunity to participate with the brand and the philanthropy of the team gives me great pride.
Today, I am proud to serve as the President & CEO of Massey Communications, a strategic marketing and branding agency. I am even more proud to be married to Heather and dad to Ben and Sylvia. In addition to this great Board, I currently serve on the Board of Trustees at Rollins College, the Board of the Winter Park Health Foundation and Chair the City of Winter Park's Public Library Task Force.

Soccer is a major part of my life and I’ve seen first-hand how it can transform and shape individual lives as well as communities. Not only did my soccer skills get me a scholarship to go to college, but I was also fortunate enough to meet my husband on the soccer field as well. We both still play the beautiful game and watch it as often as we can. We also hold a tournament every Memorial Day Weekend which raises approximately $5,000 for the Orlando City Foundation.
I am a two-time graduate of the University of Central Florida, earning a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Creative Writing in 2002, and later, a Master of Arts in Mass Communications in 2009. I was a 4-year member of the UCF Women’s Soccer team, 1998-2001. I played for the great Michelle Akers and Amanda Cromwell – now a national championship winner and NSCAA coach of the year. After college, I stayed and worked in Orlando. I joined Orlando Health in 2005 and am currently the Director of Sports Partnerships & Marketing.
I started my career at Orlando Health at a place called the Howard Phillips Center for Children & Families, one of the charities that Orlando City Foundation supports. The Howard Phillips Center is a place which not only treats children and families suffering from abuse, but also teaches prevention. This is a wonderful organization with extraordinarily dedicated individuals who have identified risk factors for abuse and are (sometimes single-handedly!) working each day to eradicate this threat to children in our community. I am proud to work with the Orlando City Foundation board to utilize soccer to strengthen our community.

I had the pleasure to meet Phil and Kay Rawlins while exploring corporate sponsorship opportunities in 2011. These passionate professionals shared their vision for Orlando City Soccer, MLS and the community - impressive to say the least. This was the beginning of a partnership that has been a great match, not only with corporate objectives, but also with my personal passion for sports and community impact programs.
Throughout my career as a marketing executive and public relations consultant, I have had the opportunity to develop major league sports partnerships and community impact programs. I have a firm belief that sports teams have the opportunity to significantly impact communities. In fact, when asked to speak at the AFL National Awards and the National Sports Forum, I chose this as my topic. From their commitment to developing youth and providing homeless children the opportunity to play soccer to supporting key health initiatives, Orlando City Soccer is certainly the example to follow.
The Orlando City Foundation is truly making a difference and I am pleased to be part of this committed board of directors. In addition to this terrific board, I currently serve as a director for Orlando After School Allstars and the International Drive Chamber of Commerce (past chair).
- Hometown: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
- Favorite (non purple) club: My heart belongs to Orlando City Soccer only
- Favorite leisure time activity: Quality time with family and friends
I have a passion for making sure our children are given the best opportunities to succeed. That passion is what attracted me to the Orlando City Soccer Foundation. Having its connection with the players and role models of the Orlando City Soccer Club is a huge asset to the Foundation and gives it an edge that many other organizations do not have. After hearing Kay Rawlins speak about her work with the Foundation and seeing its work in action, I knew that she truly believes in the mission of the Foundation, and will stop at nothing to improve the lives of the children in our community.
I am a shareholder with the international law firm of Greenberg Traurig, where I have practiced law for over ten years. My practice is focused on complex commercial litigation, with a focus on real estate and business disputes. We currently have 2000 attorneys in 38 offices worldwide, and have recently been named the most charitable law firm. I will, no doubt, be tapping into the time, talent and philanthropy of my colleagues and business partners to help the Foundation achieve its objectives. I look forward to helping make a difference in the lives of children by serving on the Foundation board, and, of course, to seeing Orlando City Soccer Club continue to take over our city! This is an exciting time in our community, and I am honored to be a part of it.
I was introduced to soccer when I had the opportunity to live in England from 2004 to 2005, and then married a handsome Brit with a lifelong passion for the game.
After living in Orlando for almost 20 years, I don't think that I have ever felt more connected to my community, than I do right now. Orlando City Soccer Club has brought our community together organically, and makes me feel like we are part of something bigger than ourselves, and that anything is possible.
I got involved with the Orlando City Foundation because I was inspired by Phil and Kay Rawlins, their leadership and their passion for giving back.
As a residential real estate professional for over 11 years, I love helping people with the most important purchase that they will ever make, all while being part of their story. And I am passionate about giving back to our community and making a difference, which falls in line with everything this Foundation stands for. I am honored to be part of an organization that continues to inspire me to be better, and I can't wait to see where this journey takes me!
