ORLANDO, Fla. (August 5, 2016) - Orlando City SC has loaned midfielder Cristian Higuita, center back Tommy Redding and left back Mikey Ambrose to Orlando City B for Saturday’s United Soccer League (USL) match against Toronto FC II. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. at Titan Soccer Complex.

Higuita has been a stalwart midfielder for the First Team, making 38 starts among 42 appearances since joining Orlando City ahead of its 2015 expansion season. The Colombian, who is suspended for Sunday’s MLS match, will join OCB to earn minutes and regain match fitness.

Redding is returning from a hamstring injury that has held him out of Orlando City’s last five matches. The 19-year-old was Orlando City’s first MLS Homegrown signing and played with the team in 2014 during its days in the USL. The Oviedo, Fla., native has featured in 15 MLS games, with 12 starts this season.

Ambrose was signed to an MLS contract on Aug. 4, 2016, after consistently strong performances with OCB and an impressive showing in Orlando City’s match against Stoke City on July 27.
