Traveling New England 17

The Lions are heading back up to the Northeast this weekend to face the New England Revolution in an Eastern Conference matchup. More specifically, the Lions will be traveling to Foxborough, Massachusetts — the home of Gillette Stadium. With the weather predicted to be perfect this Saturday - mid 70’s and sunny - our traveling supporters should be in for a real treat.

The Venue

The Revolution play in Gillette Stadium in Foxborough. The stadium is also home to the New England Patriots of the National Football League. The capacity of Gillette Stadium is 68,756 and is owned by Robert Kraft, who is also the owner of both the Patriots and the Revolution.

The stadium is located in a great location for supporters who want to check out a few different towns. Foxborough is about 21 miles southwest of Boston, and about 20 miles from downtown Providence, Rhode Island.

The Revolution currently recognize three supporter groups who will be cheering loudly during this weekend’s game: The Midnight Rider’s; The Rebellion; and La Barra.

The New England area is a great place to visit and sightsee. Below are some suggested places for our supporters to visit while they are up north!
