Orlando City to Face English Premier League Side West Bromwich Albion in Second International Friendly of 2015

ORLANDO – May 5, 2015 – Orlando City SC will face English Premier League team West Bromwich Albion in an international friendly on Wednesday, July 15, the team announced today.


The fixture continues Orlando City’s history of bringing high level teams to the City Beautiful, marking the team’s ninth international friendly in five years and fourth contest against a Premier League team – previously facing Newcastle United, Bolton Wanderers and Stoke City.


The game is included in the 2015 season ticket package, however non-season ticket members can purchase tickets here.


Currently sitting in 13th place in the Premier League table, West Brom is coached by Tony Pulis – father of Anthony Pulis who played for the Lions from 2012-2014 and is now a member of Orlando’s coaching staff. Tony Pulis previously faced Orlando City with Stoke City in 2012, defeating City 1-0.


Headlining West Brom’s roster are players such as former England National Team and Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott, Saido Berahino, who leads the team with 18 goals, and Manchester United loanee and Scotland National Team defender Darren Fletcher.
