In the second third leg of Orlando City's preseason, they will be heading to the the 12th annual Carolina Challenge Cup from February 21 through February 28, 2015. The Club will face fellow MLS newcomers New York City FC, two-time MLS Cup Champions the Houston Dynamo and former USL PRO rivals Charleston Battery in the three-game tournament. Today, the schedule for the tournament was announced. Tickets will be on sale starting December 1st.

The Charleston Battery are usually the team playing the premier opening night game, but Battery President Andrew Bell said, "We considered the historical significance of the first NYCFC-Orlando City match, the traveling fans of both clubs, and the world-class stars involved. Giving that event prominence just seemed the right move.”
